HOT PEPPER BACON JAM CHICKEN BURGERS

Ingredients

2 lbs. (.907 kg ) ground chicken
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. Oh! So Onion
1 Tbsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
2 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Pepper (Retired)
2 tsp. Mexican Fiesta Rub & Seasoning
2 Tbsp. Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce
White cheddar cheese slices
Hot Pepper Bacon Jam

Instructions

In a large bowl mix the first seven ingredients. Divide into 7-8 equal portions; shape into patties. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or more. Spray grill with non-stick cooking spray. Heat grill and cook burgers for 5 minutes, flip and cook 5 minutes more (cook time will vary based on thickness). Check for doneness, burgers should be thoroughly cooked. In the last few minutes of cooking add cheese slices. Let cooked burgers rest for 5 minutes before serving. Place the burger on a toasted bun and top with Hot Pepper Bacon Jam. Add any other toppings you like!
